The Platypus is already a very strange creature. When the first specimens arrived in Europe people thought that it was a made up creature, constructed from a duck and a mammal, with its fury body, duck like bill and webbed feet. What they didn’t realise is that it also lays eggs and produces milk and has a sixth sense.
