Wagan (Bush Turkey) Napkin
Our napkins are Australian made using pure European linen. They are machine washable and become even softer after use.
The name of this unique and peculiar bird, native to Eastern Australia is often discussed and contested. Commonly known in English as Bush Turkey, Brush Turkey or Scrub Turkey. It is not in anyway related to Turkeys and the descriptives depend on what type of habitat in which it resides. Bush in Australia usually refers to forests, where as brush is lower more dense plants cover. Scrub also means shrub like plant coverage. We prefer the local Bundjalung name Wagan.
