This incredible piece is highly collectable. Hand embroidered Phulkari, meaning ‘flower work’ is a traditional textile from the Punjab and is very difficult to find these days. This piece which is approximately 2.5mX 1.5m is would have taken a woman over a year to embroider. The black cotton base is also handloomed. This piece is from the Pakistani Punjab and although it is over forty years old is in immaculate condition.
