The brilliant purple flowers of the Tibouchina tree once lined some of the footpaths in Byron Bay and become a very popular garden shrub. Originally from South Africa, like many other plants are suited very well for the Australian climate. This was one of our first designs, inspired by the Alstonville Tibouchina that grows next to the studio.
