Silk Ikat Kantha Wrap 1

A$130.00

Purple, orange and cream design on one side and cream with green trim on the other. Made from recycled, hand loomed, silk ikat saris and hand embroidered with kantha (a type of running stitch), no two of these wraps are the same. They are double-sided with both sides being quite different in design. As they are silk they can be worn as a scarf but they are also perfect as a light wrap on a cool Spring or Summer evening. Made in villages of West Bengal by women in their spare time. As they are made from recycled silk there are can be some small blemishes, which get lost in the design.
