This scarf is mostly shades of natural blue indigo with highlights of black dye made from oxidised iron (rust).

Arjrak is a traditional form of block printing in Kutch, Gujarat India and the Sindh region of Pakistan- before partition the two areas were connected. Natural dyes are used such as indigo, madder root and iron. These scarves are from made by a small group of young artisans in Kutch, who are proudly keeping their art alive. Block printed with natural dyes onto local grown organic cotton that hand loomed to create khadi fabric. They can also be used as a table runner. 180X55cm. Hand wash and dry in the shade to prevent fading.
